Julie Meek


Julie Meek joined PerformancePoint in the Spring of 2021. Julie’s work experience in HR and account management, along with her outgoing personality, provide her with a valuable perspective when helping clients solve problems. She has a strong focus on talent management, development and coaching, data analytics, and process improvement strategy.

One of Julie’s most outstanding attributes is the interest and enthusiasm with which she approaches her work. Wading into unknown waters is an opportunity to learn something new and a welcome challenge! Getting things right, even if it takes a little extra time, is an important value that shapes the work Julie produces.

After completing a bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, Julie launched her career in pharmaceutical sales and account management. Eventually, Julie and her husband found themselves in Orlando, FL for his job, which led her to an opportunity to work for Walt Disney World. Julie had the privilege of helping open the Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort, where she recruited and hired employees and built out the employee front desk training experience. 

While in an account manager role at AIMS Logistics, which was acquired by U.S. Bank, Julie built and maintained relationships with clients where she reviewed business processes to create efficiencies and build workflows to detail changes for programming purposes. Soon Julie moved into human resources handling recruitment and HR generalist duties, and eventually becoming an HR business partner in Memphis, TN and Naperville, IL. During her tenure at U.S. Bank Julie implemented a new payroll system for about 450 employees in ten states.

Julie has many interests outside of work including helping her husband manage the restaurant they own and operate, taking care of their three dogs, and making trips back to the east coast to visit family and enjoy the shore.
